Community Based Projects
Rose Charities Canada supports community-based projects in 10 developing countries: Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Nepal, Guatemala, Afghanistan, Haiti, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Rwanda, Cambodia and Madagascar.
All the projects are different but all have the same essential components:
- dedicated local leadership
- support from the community with many local volunteers
- an ability to stretch a small budget to achieve big results
Where your donation goes
Rose Charities is a volunteer based organization, which means that your donation does not go towards salaries, or travel expenses. We aim to keep our overheads to an absolute minimum, which means that 98% of your donation (or more) goes directly to the project that you specify.
